On this past Sunday we decided to explore a little bit before Carolynn started at Providence. \u00a0So I found three places that would appeal to both of us. \u00a0One was a lighthouse, which we did not stay at, as the parking was $4 an hour. \u00a0Since we haven’t had income in 5 weeks, I decided that we would come back to that one later.<\/p>\n

Next was a trip to the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum. \u00a0This was on my list, as they had a whole bunch of working WW2 aircraft. We get in free because of our membership at another museum, so I intend to go often. \u00a0It doesn’t hurt that it is near where Boeing is building the 767\/777\/787 aircraft. \u00a0I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. \u00a0I will take more pictures next time, but here are a few:<\/p>\n

\nThis museum was one of Paul Allen’s (co-founder of Microsoft) babies, and unfortunately he died unexpectedly the day after we visited. \u00a0Hopefully he had put in place a way for the collection to continue to grow. \u00a0I would love to see it be around for years to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
