The theme was thrift shop elegant.  We were supposed to buy our outfits from a thrift shop.  We had prizes for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female, and Cheapest Outfit.  Out of all of the attendees, Carolina was the only one that actually made it until midnight.  Everyone brought comfy clothes to change into after we took our pictures and chose the winners. I spent $2.53 on his outfit. It was a combination of king tide, the moon, and a storm coming in.  My mom and I braved the wind and went down to the waterfront to get a firsthand look. The weather was amazing. Sadly, we did not get snow like the rest of the state.
