Today Mother Nature surprised us and kept the rain at bay.  We decided to take advantage of it and head south to Hug Point to check it out.  The beach was very rocky!

We went to find a waterfall that went right onto the beach. We tried taking what we thought was a path to it but it didn’t get us there.  It felt like we here walking through the jungle.

So, instead we decided to wait just a bit for the tide to go out so we could walk around to see the waterfall.  The time came and we made a run for it!

We walked into the “cave” in the rock.  It didn’t go very far.

After hanging out here for a bit here, we drove to Cannon Beach to see the tide pools around Haystack Rock.

We were able to see a star fish and sea anemones.
