For my birthday I decided that I wanted to go to the Oregon Zoo.  Just so happened that my birthday was the first day of their Portland Beer Week festivities.  They had food trucks, craft beer tents, lawn games, and entertainment.  We left Seaside when I got off work and headed to the zoo.  Luckily traffic wasn’t too bad and the weather was beautiful!  Bonus for us was that Thursday evening didn’t appear to be a busy time for them.  We became members of the zoo so we could go back whenever we wanted and it also gets us in to other zoos and museums across the country for free or 1/2 off.

After the zoo we enjoyed a delicious meal at Outback!  I was craving a good steak. Not many places in Seaside for steak.  Of course, I had to partake in a wallaby darned also!
