We left Channahon, IL this morning after a nice but brief visit with family. With such a short visit, we didn’t get to see everyone. Last night we played a vicious game of Monopoly that ended in a draw since it was almost 11pm.

It snowed the entire drive today and it was sleeting when we got to stop for the night. The roads weren’t bad. There were plows everywhere putting out salt. Hopefully, the rest of the trip won’t be too bad.

Now we will settle in for a restful evening before we continue our trip in the morning.
