We had a quiet Easter this year. The weather was beautiful after a cold start to the weekend. Here are some pictures from around our house and such.

We finished the firepit area! Now we just have to get some chairs to put around.

We replaced two of the recessed lights on the porch with ceiling fans to make front porch sitting more enjoyable in the summer.

We are in the process of staining the fence!

A surgical tech that I met while traveling in Maine, now lives in Brunswick County and she and her dog came to Southport to visit us (she’s the one who connected us with Mack). It was a nice evening catching up.

We took Mack to the beach! He enjoyed it. He walked right on the water’s edge. Off leash season is over, so we will have to get a long leash if he wants to get in the water farther.

There was a spring festival on Oak Island and we took Mack. He did great with all the people and all the other dogs. Several people stopped us and commented how handsome he was.
