It’s Friday Night

Friday night Scott and I hung out with our friends Liz and Daniel. We rode down to American Fish to enjoy the evening, a few drinks, and live music. After spending some time there, we walked over to the new bar in town, The Mullet. It is also a completely outdoor bar right on the water. We stayed there for a bit and enjoyed live music there also. Afterwards, we rode back to our house, sat on the porch and had a few drinks and some good conversation. But…we weren’t ready to call it a night. Liz, Daniel, and I walked to the Tiki Tavern for Karaoke night! We had so much fun. Although we did not make it on stage to sing, we were able to dance and have a good time. When we were all done, we called Scott to come get us. Love that things are getting more back to normal and love hanging out with friends.

Saturday, we got up early and had a very productive day. We worked on the beautification of the backyard. We added stone around the seating area of the fire pit, we added stone and mulch to create a walkway to the fire pit, we buried a piece of lumber to hold a windchime that I got for my birthday, and it also supports the strands of Edison bulbs that we hung. It came out just as we wanted. It is now ready for some friends and family to come hang out back there.
