Pups First Trip to Mountains
Third road trip of the month was 938 miles roundtrip to Hayesville, NC. We finally made it back to my friend Eileen’s house after skipping last year. We also were lucky enough to be able to coordinate with our friends Dina and Karen to go at the same time. This group always has fun when we are together. We ate, laughed, drank, floated, boated and played games. I was even able to get up on skis after not having done it in 2 years. Moose absolutely LOVED the lake. I think he would be happy if we lived on one. We put life jackets on them in case and I think it’s a good thing because Moose would swim until he drowned. Anna likes putting her feet in and going for short swims but is not a fan of jumping in. I was able to get them to ride in the kayak with me. Anna did better than Moose because he only has about 2.5min attention span. After that, he started trying to drink the water and jump in.

Karen and Alan left before anyone else. One of the days we drove over to Franklin to see another lady that used to work at Jewett. After seeing her new house and having lunch, Eileen, Dina, and I went to see a few waterfalls.
