December

December was a busy month. Pretty sure every weekend had something going on, between parties, winterfest activities, and traveling to my parent’s.

I was invited to a Christmas game night with some friends. We always have a good time together.

Dr. Kelso worked his last day with us before retiring at the end of the month. We will miss him. Loved working with him.

We had our OR Christmas party at Sharon’s house on Oak Island this year. We had a few new faces. We played games and ate lots of food. I think everyone had a good time.

We took the pups to have their pictures made with Santa again this year. Anna looks terrified because they were trying to move her.

Part of winterfest this year was an ice skating rink! They set it up on the tennis courts by the waterfront. Some friends and I went one afternoon. We brought some hot chocolate and “adult” additives and went for it. It was a ton of fun. I hope they include this again next year.

This year instead of decorating candy canes, they had a tree decorating contest. They set up all the trees in Franklin Square Park.

Light up the night Christmas parade. It was great. The entries were creative and fun.

The Annual Flotilla. It was the best one we have seen since we’ve been here. The most number of boats and the best decorations.

Cafe Koa held a pop up Christmas meal, pajamas and pancakes. Scott and I went to check it out. Scott had chocolate chip pancakes and I had strawberry and blueberry pancakes. A little holiday fun.

Annual baking day with my mom! We baked a ton of goodies and passed them out to the neighbors.

My precious Christmas pups!

Christmas gift exchange/party at work.

Christmas Eve brunch and mimosas with some friends.

Some Christmas fun with the pups and our front walkway.

Christmas at my parents. We did it the Saturday after, since Scott had to work the day before and after.

Happy 2026!
