This year I participated in the annual Oak Island Tide Sit in. I joined a great group of friends and we had lots of laughs. It is a fundraising event for the Sea Turtles. Everyone starts in a single row at the waters edge and the last person sitting wins. It’s amazing how strong the waves are as they roll in. It knocked me over onto my back before I even realized what happened. I lasted about an hour. My chair did not survive this experience. I saw a lot of people with goggles and I can say I may consider that next time. Can’t wait to do it again next year.
