Through Wyoming

When we left Colorado this morning it was starting to flurry.  The lady at the hotel said they may get a couple of inches.  The temperatures on our trip stayed between 28 and 33 and it snowed on and off, but nothing too bad.  Here are some snowy pictures from the trip.

We made a small side trip to see Ayres Natural Bridge.  The park is only opened until October 15 so we just made it.  It was a pretty neat area.  It was really cold and the snow was starting to fall a little heavier.

We carefully climbed a small trail to the top of the bridge.  Between the fallen leaves and the snow/ice it was a little slippery.  On the way down Scott thought it would be funny to throw a snowball at me.  It stuck to me really well so I used the same snowball to throw back at him.  It was an awesome shot!

Here are some cool views from our continued travels.

We made a second side trip to Hot Springs State Park.  The colors on the trees were beautiful still.  The hot springs themselves were very neat to see.  We did not go in the bath house because we got there at closing time.

We drove to the other end of the park to see a sink hole and the grazing fields for bison.  We had no idea that the bison would be on the road!  It was really cool to see them so close.  Scott was very nervous because there were babies, so he drove kinda fast.

This is the closest wildlife encounter we’ve had.  Haha

We made it to our stop for the night and walked to a close by bar for dinner and a drink.

In the morning we will head to Yellowstone!!
