Today was yet another beautiful yet cold day. We decided to drive a little north to check out a couple of lighthouses that we hadn’t seen yet.

Our first stop was Marshall Point Lighthouse. It is the lighthouse from Forrest Gump. It was very pretty with the snow, but holy cow the wind was soooo cold.

Our next stop was Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. This is the lighthouse that is on the Maine quarter. Again, it was beautiful and cold. One of the nice things about visiting places in the winter is that you mostly have the places all to yourself.

This is the Knox Mansion. We passed it on the way to the lighthouses. We didn’t stop, we just took the picture.
