Lake Life

With Scott’s 4 day work weeks, we were able to manage a long weekend to head to the mountains to visit our friend Eileen and visit with Scott’s parents. Dina and Michael were also able to schedule their visit during this time. We were only missing Karen and Alan. Eileen was kind enough to allow Mack to stay with us so we didn’t have to leave him anywhere.

The weather was beautiful! We were able to get lots of boat and float time in. I was the only one who used the skis. Getting up on two skis was “easy”, like riding a bike. I tried to do 1 ski without success. I tried getting up on 2 and dropping 1 and getting up on 1. Failed at both. There’s always next year.

Nervous smile. Wondering if I have what it takes to get up on the skis this year.
Here goes nothing.
Yay! I did it!
Just floating and catching up.
These views never get old.
Spotted Bigfoot!
Right before Eileen pulled the plug on Mike’s float! He was quite shocked. Haha

No trip to Eileen’s is complete without a game or two of cornhole.

Champions!

Mack enjoyed a swim in the lake and sitting with me enjoying the Mountain View’s.

We went out to eat twice while we were there. Once to a bbq place and once to a brewery. Both had good food.

The “cabansion”. The “new” view. No more fence or trees, and a new boat ramp.

Cruising the neighborhood on the golf cart.

Eileen, Dina, and me. Hoping Karen gets to join us next year. It’s been awhile since we’ve all been there together.

Can’t wait til next year. 2022 is supposed to be our “comeback” year. Hoping we can all make it up at the same time.
