This weekend I drive up to Raleigh to watch my mom play softball in the NC Senior Games Softball Tournament. I always enjoy watching my mom play. We had amazing weather for the weekend. It was cool and sunny. I ended up getting to coach third base for her team throughout the tournament. These ladies are so fun to be around and they played so well. On Saturday, Mikey, Talon, and Tinley rode up to watch the first two games. It was really good to hang out with them as well. They won the bronze medal for their age group.

At night I stayed with my really good friend Dorothy, who I haven’t seen since this tournament last year. It was really good to hang out and catch up with her even if that meant staying up way too late when I had to get up pretty early.
