Once again went to Wades Jewelers Annual Block Party. We enjoyed some live music, snacks, and free wine. Before Scott and I headed to Wades, Liz and I went to Rene’s Jewelry for ladies night. We also enjoyed free snacks and wine. We entered in a door prize drawing and I actually won an anchor charm. Saturday night, Scott and I went to The Haven to enjoy some gelato and a great band. We ended up sitting with some of the first people we met when we got to Southport. They are always so nice when we see them around town.

A couple of Winterfest events that we attended.

We had two Christmas parties for work this year. The first one was at work where we had a pot luck breakfast and a gift exchange game. The second party was held at Shannon’s house. We encouraged everyone to dress up in either Christmas pajamas or as a character from a Christmas movie. Scott and I went as the Grinch and Martha Mae Whovier. We enjoyed some delicious food and played some fun games. I’m really lucky to have such a great work family.

We enjoyed one last dinner at Provision and one last drink at American Fish for the season. It was the night of the Christmas flotilla but we had to miss it for my work party.

I went home to Rockingham for a very short trip for the annual cookie baking event with my mom. I got there Friday night and enjoyed dinner with my friends Amanda and Stacy. While there, I ran into friends Denise and David. Saturday, my mom and I got an early start and we baked all day. We actually finished everything and deliver them to the neighbors all in the same day.

I rushed home from Rockingham to beat the Nor’easter that was heading our way. Here are some pictures from the flooding at the waterfront.

Thursday night we headed to Southport Tap and Cellar for trivia night. This week, it was holiday themed and they held an ugly Christmas sweater contest. Our team won 3rd place in trivia. Scott and I entered the sweater contest wearing a sweater built for two. We tied for first place.

We went to Rockingham for Christmas. I didn’t take very many pictures but we had a good time. We hung out with my parents on Sunday and we were able to have a short visit with ,y brother and his family before we had to head back home so I could go back to work on Tuesday.
