For the last day of the year, we spent the day riding our bikes around town enjoying the beautiful weather. We stopped at Southport tap and Cellar to enjoy one last drink there for the year. We also spent some time sitting down at the waterfront. We were able to watch the last sunset of 2023 before we headed off to a party.

This year we were invited to a New Year’s party at our friend Jeanne’s house. She lives close enough that we could ride our bikes over. We had a great time. Jeanne had games lined up for us to play all night. We ate, drank, played, and laughed a lot. It’s nice that I have such fun coworkers that have become good friends.

The first day of 2024 was beautiful! It was almost 60 degrees and sunny! We enjoyed a bike ride and sitting on the lawn at the waterfront for a long time. We also watched the first sunset of the year right before a bunch of clouds rolled in and covered it up.
