4th of July Decor

So this year the NC 4th of July Festival has been cancelled due to Covid-19. That means no parade, no fireworks, no vendors, no concerts, no food trucks. Nothing. That didn’t mean that I couldn’t go all out with the decor at the house though. Here are some pictures of our house and yard.

Scott built me this frame. I stained it ebony so that it would pretty much go with anything. The frame has a slot so that what’s inside is interchangeable. Scott cut me a piece of wood and I painted it. It will work for all patriotic holidays. Eventually, it will have something different on the back so that I can change it with the seasons and holidays.

When we came back from our trip someone had painted and placed this wooden American flag at our mailbox. So cool.

I made this USA sign thanks to a piece of wood being cut the wrong size for a different project.

I made sure that we put out our decorations before we went on our trip because Southport is doing a virtual 4th of July festival and people were allowed to submit pictures of their homes/windows. So of course I submitted some of ours. Not sure if there is a contest or anything but I still wanted to make sure our house was included.
nc4thofjuly.com is the website. They will display the submitted pictures the 2nd-4th.
