Wingtoberfest

So, for the last couple of years we have spent the first weekend of October in Rockingham for Hoptoberfest. This year it was cancelled due to Covid. One of my co-workers and I decided that we would have our own wing party. We began coming up with some ideas and then Wingtoberfest was born. I invited all of my co-workers and asked them to bring their best/favorite wing. We enjoyed some good food and good company. We had a vote for the favorite wing and the winner was awarded with a glass that I etched and it was full of gold chocolates. I also designed a logo for our event and made souvenir cups for everyone that attended. Everyone had a good time and we may make this a new annual event for us.

Now I know how to make wings. Before this event I had never made wings before in my life. My wing flavor was Habanero Peach. It was delish and will be a regular on our home menu now.

The sign I made. The middle is chalkboard so I can change the year.
